Thank you! TShe is a Pit/Catahoula – probably some dalmatian in there mix. She was a rescue…. all her siblings died from malnourishment and heat stroke shortly after arriving at the shelter. four years later and she’s doing great.

So true, but there is a big difference in which type off animals you shoot.
I’m a professional cat photographer (also dogs :-)). I always take pictures at my clients homes, outside and not in studio’s with softboxes and flashlights. I do not use flashlights. For cats it is not done. All the animals I shoot are strangers for me and I’m a strange person for them. So it takes a lot a lot of patience to shoot the right picture. Love to watch dogs in there world and as dog walker and owner always between dogs. My camera back is almost fused with my back 😉 I Learn indeed every day because of the different (lighting) situations. It felt as a gift when I walked in to my garden and my dog was in this beautiful light and my camera was ready to shoot.
