Nine out of ten times you’re going to keep going.
Next time you don’t feel like working out instead of taking the day off just give yourself ten minutes. Once the ten minutes are up you can stop without feeling guilty. Chances are you probably won’t want to.
I didn’t feel like going to the gym after work tonight. I was laden with excuses. I stayed up watching ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ and cried my eyes out while also trying to read (yeah I know, not exactly ideal multitasking) so I only managed about five hours of sleep. Then in the afternoon my legs felt heavy. Yesterday I did a longer than usual run. I just didn’t feel like going today. I went anyway.
A few sets of kettle bell swings and I was keen to get a decent workout.
