Fitness & Nutrition Goals for October

It’s time to set some goals and since it’s the beginning of a new month now is a good time as any to do so. Before I do so I should let you know that I’m goal obsessed. I have goals for everything and I like writing them down and crossing them off as they are accomplished. It’s a bit obsessive compulsive but I don’t mind. So here goes, this is what I’d like to achieve in the month of October.

FITNESS
1 – Run 100km +
2 – Complete a 10km race
3 – Include some hill work in my training
4 – Weight train twice each week
5 – Stretch for 30 minutes three to four times a week
6 – Do yoga or Pilates once a week
7 – Go swimming twice during the month
8 – Include some cycling
9 – Find time to rest

NUTRITION

1 – Drink more water (at the moment all I seem to be filling up on is lemon & honey, green or mint tea due to the cold)

2 – Cut down on chocolate (I eat far too much and that’s not an exaggeration. It’s easy for me to eat half a block or more in one sitting)

3 – Eat more fish especially the oily kind like salmon and tuna
