Hello!
Welcome to Running Candid! I’m so glad to see you here.
An investment in your health and fitness is one of the best decisions you’ll ever make.
It’s not about just looking and feeling good physically, it’s so much more.
Running Candid is here to help you to find time to be fit and healthy with a hectic schedule. Whether you one kid or five, stay at home or work a corporate career, time is of the essence.
As much as I love working out (yeah, I do), I don’t have the time to spend an hour or two every day to stay fit all year round. It’s just not sustainable.
Since becoming a mum back in 2014, my health and fitness have been up and down. But one thing I noticed was the small effects of mini-workouts throughout the week.
I’m not going to tell you that you’ll get a six-pack from doing a 15-minute workout. Unless you’re genetically predisposed, it’s unlikely to happen.
But that’s not why you’re here. You want to look and feel good in your own skin and a burst of regular exercise and healthy nutrition will help you do just that!
Are you ready? Awesome! Let’s get started on your journey to a love of health and fitness that fits into your busy life.
A little about me,
I’m Kasia, founder of Running Candid, mum and wife, a runner, occasional triathlete, food & wine lover, a traveller at heart, and writer, embracing life and everything it has to offer.
I’ve been involved in health and fitness for almost fifteen years and enjoy competing in fun runs and triathlons. I have a Certificate IV in Fitness and believe that we were all born to be active in one way or another.
Health and fitness isn’t just about having a six-pack or living off greens with grilled chicken breast.
It’s about regular movement, whether it’s in the comfort of your own home, in the park with the kids, or at your favourite gym, and enjoying the food you love – in moderation.
My philosophy is you can eat anything you want, just not everything you want.
And when it comes to exercise, a little can go a long way.
And when you’re a busy mum, time is of the essence!
Thanks for stopping by, and please feel free to leave a comment or send me an email. I love hearing from readers!
